About the Caucus

What Is a Caucus?

Utah Democrats hold Neighborhood Caucuses every two years to elect local party leaders and delegates who will represent your community at county and state nominating conventions.

At your precinct caucus, neighbors gather to elect a Precinct Chair, Precinct Vice-Chair, Precinct Secretary/Treasurer, State and County Delegates who will vote to select Democratic candidates for the 2026 primary election.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Open to All Registered Voters — you do not need to be a registered Democrat to participate, vote, or run for office.
